MASABELANE NGESIXHOSA
The Language Centre is presenting its new language and culture isiXhosa short course for SU staff members. This is a 6-week course (two sessions of fifty minutes a week over lunch period). The course is aimed to introduce non-isiXhosa speakers to the isiXhosa language and cultural aspect. It is there to empower staff members by developing their multilingual skills and to enable non-isiXhosa speakers to engage in meaningful conversation at a beginner’s level. At the end of this course, students will be able to use a basic isiXhosa vocabulary for social communication in a variety of contexts.
